itprosasia.com Organizes Free Learning Event to Help Recruiter with their IT Hiring
March 23, 2012, Manila: What challenges do recruiters frequently face in their tech hiring? With IT hiring predicted to steadily increase for the coming months, HR and recruitment professionals need to be equipped with adequate information and knowledge on how to find the right tech professional for their organizations.
In order to address this need, itprosasia.com, in partnership with MISNet Education, organized its Coffee Mornings, a 2-hour free learning session for HR and recruitment professionals about understanding the technology professions. The attendees were introduced to the different key skill categories in IT and key work functions plus sample job titles and tools per skill category. They also learned about current salary levels for tech professionals from different skill expertise, as well as the latest, in-demand jobs for 2012.
During the session, attendees were able to tackle their tech recruitment challenges, share experiences and compare practices and policies with fellow practitioners. Companies present during the event were Lawson Software, Harte-Hanks Philippines, Jupiter Systems, Inc. Pacific Hub Corporation, and many more. All in all, this learning event gave insight to HR and recruitment professionals on how to look for and attract the right tech candidates.
