itprosasia.com invites you to join Software Freedom Day Philippines 2010. Software Freedom Day (SFD) is a worldwide celebration of Free and Open Source Software (FOSS). This celebration aims to educate the worldwide public about the benefits of using high quality FOSS in education, in government, at home, and in business.

The main celebration of Software Freedom Day Philippines 2010 will be held at the UP Diliman campus on September 18, 2010, Saturday, simultaneously at the College of Engineering and College of Education Theater starting at 9:00 in the morning. With the theme “CHANGE is FOSSible!” this event aims to teach the basics of FOSS and its application in entrepreneurship, education and activism.
