Cloud Computing Coming to Manila in March
Southeast Asia is a dynamic region with 600 million people and a combined economy larger than that of India. The region can let lost in the excitement over China and India. Yet the region's growth rate is among the highest in the world. And Cloud Computing is becoming a hot topic.
With this backdrop, itprosasia.com has organized the Cloud Computing Now! conference for March 3 at the Dusit Thani Hotel in Makati City, Metro Manila. i'll be a speaker and primary moderator. We'll be looking at how Cloud can help developing nations such as the Philippines address ingrained problems and benefit from a continued global wave of distributed computing and business.
The conference organizer also provides job posting and career development services for companies and individuals in the Philippines' growing IT sector. Targeted government policies and incentives have enabled the development of a $7.5 billion business-process outsourcing industry over the past few years, with 400,000 new jobs created throughout the country.
