Job Description

Independently analyze NextGen user specifications and requirements.
Responsible for enhancements and maintenance of the NextGen applications.
Encode, test, debug, and document programs on complex projects.
Revise and update developed programs and documentation as required.
Exercise independent judgment to solve challenges inherent in application development and tier 2 support issues of the NextGen application.

Tech Professional Description

•A minimum of 3 years of professional software support and/or development experience
•Work experience in the healthcare environment or prior experience with EHR template and form creation and implementation
•Excellent customer service skills
•Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
•Basic knowledge of SQL
•Strong programming skills and good understanding of software development cycle
•An understanding of relational database design and writing basic SQL queries, triggers and/or stored procedures
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills
•Strong organizational, time management and follow-up skills
•Ability to identify, prioritize and execute tasks to meet project deadline
•Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Good knowledge of creating and maintaining Crystal Reports, parameters and functions
