    Job Description

    Provisions and maintains the health of the online and offline storage environment by which he/she will ensure the availability and performance of the storage environment to meet the requirements of the business.
    • Provisions storage as required;
    • Utilizes tools to analyze trends and troubleshoot issues;
    • Monitors storage systems to ensure adequate capacity, performance and availability;
    • Contributes to the development of documentation;
    • Assists with the planning, preparation and testing around disaster recovery readiness.

    Tech Professional Description

    • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor''''s/College Degree , Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication), Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
    • Two to three years of technical experience in a storage environment
    • Two to three years experience in an enterprise EMC storage environment
    • Experience with related protocols - NFS, TCP/IP, ISCSI, NDMP, etc
    • Unix background is a plus
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent team member, self-starter, able to work independently and without supervision
    • Daily communication with global team regarding SLA''''''''''''''''s, work status and daily reporting is essential
