Job Description

This candidate is responsible for the Design, Implementation, Maintenance and Support for a Global Microsoft SQL environment. Responsibilities include planning, testing, tuning and configuration and setup of SQL Architecture. Support organizational goals and objectives by ensuring SQL Server availability within the organization and a prompt response to internal and external customers. Manages SQL Server performance and maintain System security.

Tech Professional Description

Competencies needed are as follows:
•Extensive knowledge of TCP/IP.
•Extensive experience with Windows Servers 2000/2003 and SQL Server 2000/2005.
•Knowledge and experience on other Server DB’s, Clustered environments & SANS.
•Must have knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures in information technology and management of a Microsoft enterprise network system.
•Demonstrate attention to details, team player, self motivated.
•Project management skills are also required.
•3-5 years experience as a Database Administrator.
•Must be at least an MCP on SQL Server or other related certification.
•Graduate of any course.
