Job Description
•The Linux Administrator is part of a team that is responsible to deliver & maintain 24x7x365 up time of all e-commerce, development servers and related services. Daily responsibilities involve technical support, monitoring and implementing technology solutions that ensure system reliability and performance. Position requires working closely with the IT Operations and Engineering teams.
•Manage, maintain, and grow production platform of *Linux* servers including host security.
•Application/system performance analysis and tuning.
•Domain / SSL management
•Provide support to developers and marketing in relation to sites/e-commerce development
•Perform on-call duties.
Tech Professional Description
•BS in engineering, computer science, or related experience
•Passion for *Linux* and Open Source technologies
•3+ years of current/intensive “Linux” Systems administration (any RedHat variant)
•PHP, Perl and Shell scripting for automation.
•Knowledge of e-commerce services (DNS, Apache, SSL, MySQL, etc.)
•Secure operating system implementation, performance tuning and roll-out.
•Backup solutions and system monitoring
•Desire to work in a fun, fast-paced, dynamic environment.
•Previously worked with e-commerce solution
•Networking (Lan, Wan, router programming, TCP/IP)
•Windows administration
•Experience with Subversion
•Experience in production environment
•Good communication skills.
•Self management abilities
•Applicants should be Filipino citizens or hold relevant residence status.
•Willing to work on varying shifts.
•Willing to work in Cybergate Plaza, Pioneer, Mandaluyong City
