Job Description

-Monitoring performance of assigned LAN server(s) to ensure 99.9% availability standards are met.
- Administering all servers incl Virtual Servers, Dell Blades and VM ESX Hosts and applications.
- Observing and controlling the status and performance of assigned server components to ensure optimal performance with sufficient resources.
- Monitor Backups Hardware and Data Backups and reviewing user quotas.
- Maintaining Central Asset database, IP Address and VLAN configurations.
- Serving as the primary department contact and expert (SME) on all Microsoft systems Promoting a strong control and process environment that guarantees the integrity and continuity of business information.
- Troubleshoots, analyzes, and resolves problems affecting network performance
- Provides Level II & Level III user/Technical support
- Administration and troubleshooting of Cisco Call Manager Phone System

Tech Professional Description

- Minimum 3 years LAN Design and Administration
- MCSE Certified
- Extensive experience in design and development of infrastructure environments
- Ability to Supervise and train employees, to include organizing, prioritizing, and scheduling work assignments.
- Strong analytical/trouble shooting ability
- Experience in Windows 2000/2003 Operating Systems, Active Directory , DHCP, DNS , WINS
- Symantec Veritas Backup, Symantec Endpoint, LanDesk, VPN, 3G Wireless
- Exposure at a top level to Cisco routers, Firewall, Switches and WLAN.
- Exposure to Cisco VOIP Call Manager is a nice to have but not essential
- Basic MS SQL 2000/2005 Server Administration
- Demonstrated skills in Problem Solving highly technical issues
- Managing systems and people in a demanding environment.
- Managing systems under Service Level Agreements.
- Excellent Project Management Skills
- Asset Tracking and Purchasing
